It is headed by the Academic Registrar who is responsible to the Vice Chancellor. The Academic Registrar assists the First Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of academics affairs to administer and organize all academic matters including admission, Development, Implementation and Review of the Curriculum, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, examination management, research and publication. The office of DVC-AA is mandated to have responsibility over the Academic affairs of the University and in the absence of the Vice-Chancellor, DVC-AA performs the functions of Vice-Chancellor in addition to performing such other functions that may be delegated to him or her by the Vice Chancellor or assigned by the University Council. The Dean of Students caters for student affairs in three main areas: University Halls of Residence, where in conjunction with the Wardens ensures that appropriate accommodation facilities and good catering services are provided to students; Recreation and Games - the Department in liaison with the Sports and Recreation staff organizes competitions and sports activities for students; and the Spiritual Centers, where one Imam and two Christian Chaplains within the main campus provide the Spiritual Services. All our medical staff are well trained and have valid medical qualifications. They are engaged to promote high standards of health and wellbeing and offer an expanded range of services at the University.
